1. Tampico

2. Tula

The charming Historic Center of Tula, with a colonial air, offers relaxed walks to appreciate its churches, its cobbled streets, the corners where they make handicrafts with ancient techniques and discover in its buildings the traces left by the Porfiriato, a time when the Frenchified ornaments.

3. Ciudad Victoria

4. Reynosa

This border city is located in the northeast of the Mexican Republic within the state of Tamaulipas, adjoins the US city of McAllen, Texas, and is characterized as an important industrial city. It is located just two and a half hours from the city of Monterrey by road.

5. Mier

To the north of Tamaulipas, in the middle of the desert, there is an oasis that was the protagonist of the fierce struggle between Mexico and the United States for the independence of Texas in the 19th century. It is the Magical Town of Mier, the oldest in the border strip that shelters endless stories of battles and standing lime and stone buildings that survive despite being more than 250 years old.
