Palenque

CASCADAS AGUA AZUL

Cascadas de Agua Azúl

It is the most visited Marian precinct in the world, with between 17 and 20 million visitors a year, only surpassed by Saint Peter's Basilica in the Vatican. In addition to the historical buildings, the great circular building of the new basilica is striking in its grandeur. Designed by the architect Pedro Ramírez Vázquez, its construction began in 1974 and ended in 1976. 

Tuxtla Gutiérrez

The Palace of Fine Arts is a cultural venue located in the Historical Center of the Mexico City , considered the most important in the manifestation of the arts in Mexico and one of the opera houses most renowned in the world. This has been the scene and witness of impressive artistic, social and political events; Its construction began towards the end of the mandate of Porfirio Diaz on the occasion of the celebration of centenary of the beginning of the Independence of Mexico.

Cañón del Sumidero

The origins of Xochimilco go back to the  Mesoamerican Preclassic Period  when its shores and islands were home to various peoples. At the start of  Postclassic , Xochimilco was an important  altepetl  who was subjected by  Mexica  in it  fifteenth century . From then until the 1960s, the territory of Xochimilco became one of the food providers for the Mexican capital.

Lagunas de Montebello

The Soumaya Museum is a non-profit cultural institution founded in  1994  which has three venues in the  Mexico City : Plaza Loreto, Plaza Carso and the Guillermo Tovar de Teresa House Museum. Its main task is to share the collection of  Carlos Slim Foundation , which offers more than 3 centuries of American and European art, in meeting spaces for all, that motivate reflection and dialogue in the Latin American cultural scene, through commitment and social action.

Cascada el Chifón

It is a site with a high concentration of cultural and tourist infrastructure. Within it are the headquarters of educational institutions in Mexico, such as the aforementioned UNAM and the  Metropolitan Autonomous University  (UMA). It houses venues such as the  National Museum of Interventions , the  Anahuacalli Museum , the  National Museum of Watercolor Alfredo Guati Rojo , the  Leon Trotsky House Museum , the Automobile Museum, the  Frida Kahlo Museum.
